Dr. Gilman P. Peterson III

Dr. Gilman Peterson completed his undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky with a degree in Chemistry in 1999.  He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2003 and from the UK College of Medicine in 2007.  He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UK in 2009.  He has been practicing in Winchester, Mt. Sterling and Lexington since that time.  Dr. Peterson’s clinical interests include wisdom teeth, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafts, oral pathology and pre-prosthetic procedures.  Dr. Peterson is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.  He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Bluegrass Dental Society, American Dental Association, Lexington Medical Society and has served on the Board of the Kentucky Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  In his free time, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his family, running and all outdoor sports.
